The death toll in Bangladesh is increasing. Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) has started selling products at a low price amid unannounced lockdowns to combat the coronavirus. Customers were seen buying TCB products without maintaining a social safe distance in the north Badda area of the capital on Sunday afternoon.

TCB sells sugar, mustard seeds, soybean oil and onions at subsidised prices. People are seen buying TCB products without maintaining a social safe distance. Women and men queue up to buy TCB products without social safe distance to buy subsidized products to save money on the impact of the corona.

The crisis surrounding the country’s undeclared lockdown due to the deadly corona has brought some relief to the lower middle class. However, in many places, customers are complaining that they are not taking the social safe distance by queueing up to buy TCB products.
