One more coronavirus patient dies, 786 test positive in 24hrs: DGHS

One more person has died from coronavirus in Bangladesh in the last 24 hours, raising the total death toll in the country to 183, said Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Tuesday (May 5). Besides, 786 more people have been tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours, pushing the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 10,929.
Prof Dr Nasima Sultana, additional director general of DGHS came up with the update while addressing an online regular health bulletin about the latest corona situation in the country at 2:30 pm. As 193 more patients recovered in last 24 hours, raising to the number of total recovery to 1,403, said Dr Nasima Sultana.
