The Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police has arrested model Mau Akhter from Mohammadpur in the capital. On Sunday (August 1) night, a team of DB police raided and arrested him. These two models live in Baridhara and Mohammadpur with two flats. They are both members of a blackmailing ring.
The society arranges for the young boys and girls to take drugs in their homes. Later he took various offensive pictures of them. They blackmailed their relatives and parents with these pictures.
He added that drugs were recovered from the homes of the two models, so a drug case would be filed against them. Moreover, allegations of blackmailing against them will be investigated. However, at the time of his arrest, Mau told reporters that there was no alcohol in his house.
