Besides, government and non-government development agencies are distributing fruit, forest and medicinal plant saplings to maintain the balance of climate change and environment. And under the initiative of competitive individuals, saplings of these trees are being planted in the abandoned land including the yard of every house in the village. As a result, environmentalists think that at some point the area will be surrounded by green walls.

According to local sources, various species of saplings are planted in the launch ghat area of ​​the municipal city once a week. Buyers are buying saplings of chambal, randy cut, mahogany, acacia, lemon, mango, jackfruit, malt, guava, mango, kamaranga etc. from this market. Besides, vendors are selling different varieties of vegetable saplings including pumpkin, Bombay chilli and brinjal. These saplings are purchased from various nurseries including Swarupkathi and brought to the market by trawlers. The saplings are being sold at different prices depending on the type. The sellers said that they are selling 3,000 to 3,000 saplings in each market.

It has been seen that the green revolution has taken place in the neighborhoods of two municipal councils including 12 unions of the upazila to save them from storms and floods. Sohag Hawladar, a sapling seller, said people in the area have become more interested in planting saplings. As a result, I come to this market every Tuesday to sell saplings. So far this year, one to one and a half lakh saplings have been sold. He said that these saplings were purchased from various nurseries including Swarupkathi and brought to the market with the help of trawlers.

Non-government development organization World Concern Bangladesh Kalapara Upazila Coordinator James Rajib Biswas said 4,000 forest trees have already been planted on both sides of the 4 km road in Baliatali, Mahipur and Latachapali Unions of the upazila. The local ward disaster management committee will be responsible for the maintenance of the saplings. He said that this tree will one day play an important role in maintaining the balance of climate change and environment.

Botany lecturer Moazzem Hossain said only trees can save lives. Therefore, everyone should plant saplings in the abandoned land on individual initiative. Kalapara Upazila Forest Officer Md Abdus Salam said about 1.5 lakh saplings of different species have been planted in the upazila. He said that the saplings of the planted trees will be made green best in the coastal area at some point.
