The teacher was laid to rest at her village home
Khairun Nahar, a college teacher from Natore, was buried at her village home in Gurdaspur after an autopsy. He was buried at around 8:00pm on Sunday (August 14th) after the namaz-e-janaza. Thousands of people from around the area took part in the funeral. Earlier in the evening, members of a three-member medical team handed over the body to the family with the help of police after the autopsy. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gurdaspur Police Station. He said that after the autopsy, the body of the college teacher was taken to the village home. His body was buried there after the namaz-e-janaza. Meanwhile, the head of the medical team formed is the acting Resident Medical Officer (RMO) of Natore Sadar Hospital. Samiul Islam Shanto said, “No injury marks were found on the body of the teacher Khairun Nahar. He died due to suffocation. However, the real reason will be known when the viscera report comes.
Nasim Ahmed, officer-in-charge (OC) of Natore Sadar Police Station, said his cousin Yunus Ali filed a UD case over the death of the teacher. The incident is sensitive so the matter is being looked into seriously. The teacher’s husband Mamun is in police custody. He is being questioned. On July 31, when the news of their marriage came to light, news was published in various media including social media Facebook.
Earlier, on June 24, 2021, their first introduction through Facebook. Then a love relationship developed. On December 12, 2021, Kazi went to the office and married college student Mamun and teacher Khairun Nahar secretly. After more than six months of marriage, the matter came to light in the area.
It is learned that the teacher had earlier married a boy from Bagha upazila of Rajshahi. The family did not last long due to family disputes. It is also reported that the first husband has a child in the house.
