Bottled soybean oil prices go up by Tk 7 per litre

The price of bottled soybean oil has increased by taka 7 per litre. Bottled soybean oil will be sold at Tk 192 per liter from now. Bangladesh Vegetable Oil Refiners and Banaspati Manufacturers Association said this decision will be effective from Tuesday.
According to the fixed new prices, currently open soybean oil will be sold at Tk 175 per litre, bottled soybean oil at Tk 192 per liter and 5 liters at Tk 945 and open palm oil at Tk 145 per litre.
Earlier, on August 3rd, the association of mill owners proposed to the Bangladesh Trade and Tariff Commission to increase the price of soybean oil by Tk 20 per liter.
