Police raid at Jhalkatha on Durga Puja Occasion

The district police has also raided the highway to maintain order and traffic to prevent accidents on the occasion of Durga Puja. On Wednesday morning, a number of light and heavy vehicles were checked at the East End area of Gabkhan Bridge in the district. At that time, the police super Fatiha Yasmin was greeted with flowers by the drivers if they had valid documents. Almost half of the cases were filed against drivers without helmets and documents on motorcycles and vehicles.

 

Other officials of the police including the OC (operations) Murad Ali, traffic police inspector Mamun Bashar, Habibur Rahman, Adel Akbar, Sergeant Shamsuddin, Atiku Rahman, Mehdi Hazanuddin were also present at the campaign. The police super Fatiha Yasmin said, “We are carrying out this campaign to make people aware of the traffic violations on the highway and to prevent accidents.”

 

He also said that the Jlaqati will continue to keep the district free of accidents. He also announced the operation of a special operation on various roads in the district to keep the situation of the Romans in a state of misery.
